The National Helpline for Support and Recovery is a volunteer corps formed to support the families of Ukrainian Armed Forces members who have been taken prisoner of war, are missing or were killed, along with others who have suffered as a consequence of the war.
Our trained operators provide immediate information, legal assistance, humanitarian and psychological support. Seeing each case through until the issue is resolved is our primary concern. Our work also involves the ongoing collection and analysis of data to identify the most common issues and improve how humanitarian aid is administered through local, regional and state social services. This work requires highly qualified specialists and informational technologies and channels. The project was launched with support from the International Renaissance Foundation, and its further development demands additional funding.
